BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

When you believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and decide to live your life for Him, you become part of God's family. "The Believers" are daughters of the most important King.

"I have loved you with an everlasting love."
Jeremiah 31:3b

God's love for His children is everlasting. God's love is greater than any other love. In Isaiah 49:16a God tells us the He will always remember us, and that we are carved into His hands.

"See I have engraved you on the palms of my hands..."
Isaiah 49: 16a

As we grow closer to God joy fills our hearts.

"Like fireworks in the heart,
Joy explodes with colors,
Crackes with excitement
and energizes the soul."
(God's Girls by Karen Whiting)

Let your life SHINE with God's Love.

You are truly unique and beautiful; you have been chosen by God to reflect a part of Himself that no one else can. What counts the most in the long run is the loving heart, mind and character that grows inside of us as we grow closer to God.

Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
1 Samuel 16:7

God's love for you does not depend on how you look. He always looks at your heart. A young lady with a pure, good heart will cause God to sing with gladness.

"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
Zephaniah 3:17

The most important thing is to become everything God wants you to be. You must give your heart to God and live a life that pleases Him. The bible says:

"Seek first the kingdom or God and His righteousness."
Matthew 6:33a

We know that we are daughters of the King, and that makes us a princess. We know that God loves us with all of His heart, and we are daughters of purity. Because we love God, we will do what is pleasing to God.

"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."
James 4:6b

Pride will grow in your heart whenever you are more concerned with pleasing yourself, having your own way, or impressing others rather than pleasing God and seeking His ways. God pulls away from those who are proud, but He gives grace to the humble.

Most athletes work real hard and practice endless hours to be the very best that they can be in sports. When we become really great at our favorite sport we may find pride slips in. As a team we work together on our strengths and our weaknesses to be the very best team that we can be. We encourage one another to be our best. We give God the glory for our achievements, and we Thank Him for our victories. Because without God we are nothing.

Jesus said:"I am the vine; you are the branches.
If a man remains in me and I in him,
he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can do nothing."

HONOR YOUR PARENTS

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive."
Hebrews 13:17a

God gave us the ten commandments to obey. He gave these to us because He loves us and wants the best for our lives. One of the commandments gives a blessing when you obey. That commandment is to Honor and obey your parents. If you do your life will be long. You can read this commandment in Exodus 20:12

We need to guard ourselves at all times. When we are disobedient, angry, or say hateful and hurtful words we allow Satan to attack our minds. We need to pray for God's blessings and protection over us, and to guard us against the attacks of the evil one. It is important that we honor our parents in words and in actions. When we are together as a team we help encourage one another to honor God and our parents.

THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
Proverbs 3:5-6

For the Christian, righteousness (Being in right standing with God), is the normal way of life. When we line our life up to God's standards instead of the World's then we are walking in God's path. We live in a world that accepts many things that is not acceptable to God because it is not THE BEST that God has planned for us.

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. This is why the world hates you.
John 15:18-19

God always gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him. Satan may try to tell you that you can not really trust God with your life, heart and with your future. But the truth is, if you will patiently wait, God will reveal what is best for you. Trust God completely as you wait for His plans for your life.

ENCOURAGE OTHERS

Philippians 4:13 says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
The next verse reads ...
"Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles."
Philippians 4:14
