PH Test Using a PH Tester from a swimming pool test kit We poured tap water into both sides of testing tubes. We poured AquaLyte Coral Granulars in the side with the red cap. Then we poured five drops of the red PH level drops into the side with AquaLyte. And we poured five drops of red PH level drops into the tap water side. Results: The tap water read at the bottom of the scale of 6.8. The water with the AquaLyte had the top reading on this test which was an 8.2. (The results of the AquaLyte water could have been a higher PH Level since the maximum reading for this test is only an 8.2) The same results were found when we conducted the test using water from a mixture of one AquaLyte sachet to 2 quarts of water.
